Cas No.: 9003-04-7
Structural Formula:
Other name: Polyacrylic Acid Sodium Salt; Poly(acrylic acid sodium salt); Poly(acrylate sodium); PAAS
1.Performance and usage
PAAS is non-toxic, easily soluble in water, and can operate under alkaline and medium concentration conditions without scaling. It can disperse the microcrystals or sediment of calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate and other salts in water without settling, thereby achieving the purpose of scale inhibition; it is also a commonly used dispersant, in addition to being used as antiscaling and dispersing agents in circulating cooling water systems in power plants, chemical plants, fertilizer plants, refineries and air conditioning systems etc, also widely used in papermaking, textile printing and dyeing, ceramics, coatings, building materials and other industries.

3.Using method:
PAA (polyacrylic acid) is often used in formulas with other water treatment agents. The specific formula and dosage are determined by experiments based on on-site water quality and equipment material conditions. If used alone, the general concentration is 2-15mg/L; when used in other industries such as concrete water-reducing agent, printing and dyeing, the dosage should be determined based on tests.
4.Package and Storage:
200L plastic drum or IBC(1000L);
Store in a cool and ventilated place indoors, storage period is 1 year.
5. Safety protection
PAAS is neutral, pay attention to labor protection during operation. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, etc. After contact, rinse with plenty of water.
