Applications:
1.Used as raw materials for the production of 1,4-butanediol, γ -butanactone, tetrahydrofuran, succinic acid, unsaturated polyester resin, alkyd resin, also used in medicine and pesticides. 
2.Act as a collector in metal ore dressing. 
3.For organic synthesis and also as synthetic fiber intermediates.
4.Maleic anhydride is an important unsaturated organic anhydride basic raw material, used in the production of organophosphate insecticide malathion diethyl, dalion intermediates 1-phenyl-3,6-dihydroxydalazine, and pyrethroid insecticide ammethrin, fungicides, bacteria intermediates, in addition, also used in the production of unsaturated polyester resin, ink additives, papermaking additives, coatings, pharmaceutical industry, food industry, etc.
5.Mainly used for the production of unsaturated polyester resin, alkyd resin, pesticide malathion, high efficiency and low toxicity pesticide 4049, long-acting iodosamine raw materials. It is also the copolymer for paint, Malay pine, polymaleic anhydride, maleic anhydride-styrene. Also an organic chemical raw material for the production of ink additives, papermaking additives, plasticizers, tartaric acid, fumaric acid, tetrahydrofuran, etc.
6.Maleic anhydride (108-31-6) is a commonly used and essential basic organic chemical raw material. It is the third largest anhydride raw material in the world after acetic anhydride and phenic anhydride. Its downstream products have a very extensive development and application prospects. Mainly used in the synthesis of unsaturated polyester tree ester, it is raw material for automotive parts, ships, corrosion-resistant chemical equipment and daily necessities.
