Product Description:
Methanol is the saturated monol with the simplest structure. It is also called "ligol" because it was first found in "ligol" or "xylessence". Methanol is a colorless and volatile liquid with alcoholic odor. The finished product is usually made from the reaction of carbon monoxide and hydrogen. It can be used to make formaldehyde and pesticides, and is used as an extraction agent of organic matter and a denaturing agent of alcohol.

Applications:
1.The main application field of methanol is the production of formaldehyde, which can be used to produce adhesives, mainly in wood processing industry, followed by used as a treatment agent for mold plastics, coatings, textiles and paper. 
2.Another main use of methanol is the production of acetic acid. Acetic acid consumption accounts for about 7% of the global methanol demand, and can produce vinyl acetate, acetate fiber and acetate, etc., whose demand is closely related to the demand of coatings, adhesives and textiles.
3.Methanol can be used in the manufacture of methyl formate, which can be used in the production of formic acid, formamide and other fine chemical products, as well as pesticides, fungicides, fumigant, tobacco treatment agent and gasoline additives.
4.Methanol can also produce methamine, which is an important fatty amine, with liquid nitrogen and methanol as raw materials, can be divided into monomethylamine, diamamine, trimethylamine, is one of the basic chemical raw materials.

Storage:
Store in a cool, well-ventilated special warehouse, far away from the fire, heat source. The library temperature should not exceed 37℃, and keep the container sealed. Should be stored separately with oxidants, acids, alkali metals, etc., avoid mixed storage. Explosion-proof-type lighting and ventilation facilities are adopted. No use of mechanical equipment and tools prone to spark. The storage area shall be equipped with leakage emergency treatment equipment and suitable shelter materials.
